Christopher Miller is a sophomore at LCHS and is playing on their basketball team. He lived in Eureka for nine years of his life. He transferred and went to Fortine schools for his fifth grade year because he wanted to try a different school.
His 7th grade year he moved to Missoula and went to an AA school, having a big change from going to a school with 15 kids in each class. He was there for two years and met awesome people and loved it down there. He played soccer in Missoula and loved it.
His freshman year he moved back up north and lived in Kalispell. While he was there, he went to Flathead High School. He spent all of his freshman year at Flathead and went to all of the basketball open gyms but never fully tried out for the team.
At the end of his freshman year he moved back up to Eureka with an Aunt and was enrolled in school one day later. He is a great addition to the basketball team and has a great attitude and the ambition to learn plays.
As a student Chris stated he loves school and missed going to Eureka. He also has great grades in school and all of his teachers love to have him in class.
Chris stated, “ Everything and everyone has changed quite a bit, I’m happy to be back and it is a lot more laid back then AA schools.”
Chris is on junior varsity and C-squad in the 2023-24 school year for head coach Gabe Evins.
Mr. Evins said, “Chris came in a little raw but he is a good kid and has a lot of potential to be a good player.”
